Former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder called the Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Andriy Melnik “a dwarf from Ukraine”. The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry has not slowed down the response to the former Chancellor of Germany. Ukraine’s deputy foreign minister, Vasily Bodnar, said that Schroeder’s act was very vile and, most importantly, not serious.
This is reported by the NPF, referring to Facebook– page of Vasily Bodnar.
Former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder took the liberty of insulting the Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany, Andrey Melnik. He called the Ukrainian diplomat “a kind of dwarf from Ukraine”. It was Schroeder’s response to the Crimea bet, which was proposed by Miller. The Ukrainian diplomat said that Crimea will certainly return to the jurisdiction of Ukraine, and Schroeder will witness this event.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reacted to the heated controversy between the politicians and defended the Ukrainian diplomat. The representative of the Ukrainian foreign ministry, Bodnar, considers that Schroeder acted very badly and low. Bodnar also warns other European politicians who are lobbying for the Kremlin in Europe:
“Do not be fooled by Russian money,” wrote the Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian foreign ministry, for example, hinted that Schroeder had ties to Russia and was lobbying for his interests in Europe.
As for the Ukrainian diplomat in Germany, according to MP Kuleba, “Andriy Melnyk will not be offended”.
It’s even worse for former Chancellor Nіmechchini, ale yak seems: “We will behave, we will see …”

As you know, Melnik previously criticized Schroeder for supporting Russia. After all, the German politician believes that the sanctions should be lifted from the Russian Federation. According to Schroeder, Crimea will never come back under the jurisdiction of Ukraine.
It should be noted that Natalya Poklonskaya, a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, had previously reacted to a bet on Crimea. She called the controversy between Schroeder and Miller “shame on Ukrainian diplomacy”.
Earlier, we reported that a new conflict was brewing between the United States and the Russian Federation.
