From June 5, Ukraine will resume domestic flights
The government will begin domestic air communications on June 5 and international air communications on June 15.
Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said this at a government meeting on Wednesday, reports a Ukrinform correspondent.
“So, for example, from June 5, we will launch domestic flights, and from June 15 – foreign flights,” said Shmygal.
According to him, it will be allowed to transport passengers in cars up to 5 people, including the driver (excluding children under 14).
From June 5, the CMU will also allow the work of public catering establishments, in particular the reception of visitors on site, subject to compliance with anti-epidemic measures.

At the same time, people over the age of 60 will not be able to comply with the obligations relating to self-isolation, and the government will also allow religious events to be held indoors, provided that there is no more than one person per 1.5 m².
It will be possible to carry out the accreditation of educational programs for which the training of candidates for higher education is carried out remotely, as well as to take decisions on the conditional accreditation of educational programs without or with partial conduct of exams accreditation until September 1, 2020.
As reported, on March 12, the government introduced quarantine in Ukraine to combat the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection. Commercial establishments were closed, with the exception of grocery stores, pharmacies, gas stations and banks. Subway work in Kiev, Kharkov and Dnipro has been stopped, land transport in cities has been stopped, inter-city and inter-regional car, rail and air communications have been stopped.

On May 11, the first stage of the weakening of quarantine began. At the same time, the Cabinet of Ministers has authorized certain establishments of commerce and services to consumers to work. The second phase of quarantine mitigation began on May 22. Until June 22, Ukraine will have adaptive quarantine.
From 1 June, rail passenger transport in urban, regional, interregional and interregional road passenger traffic has resumed.
