The case of the murder of Kherson activist Yekaterina Gandzyuk has been referred for preliminary investigation. As reported to the prosecution, this is due to new circumstances. It should be noted that earlier in the PCU, they had assured that the investigation into this case had ended and that he had been sent to court.
On this subject, it is written “MFN” referring to “Shortening“.
But today, the prosecution has decided to return the case to the investigation stage. Until the end of July, the investigation will have to relate to new circumstances, namely to investigate in detail the link of Vladislav Manger and Alexei Levin with the attack on Gandzyuk.
During the trial, the prosecutor said the case had been referred for investigation, with some witnesses saying that Manger was pressing them. Note that at today’s hearing, Manger was not there. He appears to have taken sick leave.
The Pechersk district court decided to comply with the prosecution’s request and authorized the forced transfer of Manger to the court.
The prosecutor also said that he would ask the court for a preventive measure for Manger in the form of an arrest without bail. The Eating Restraint Court will be held on June 15.
Recall that we wrote earlier that the President hopes for a fair sentence in the Gandzyuk case.
