GDB reported suspected corruption to former National Guard platoon commander
The State Investigation Bureau has reported suspicions regarding the former National Guard platoon commander for obtaining improper benefits.

“Investigators from the Territorial Administration of the State Security Bureau, located in the city of Poltava, reported suspicions to a former commander of an auto repair platoon from one of the military units of the National Guard of Ukraine, which is deployed in the city of Kharkov, “said the statement.

A member is suspected of receiving improper benefits for influencing the decision of a person authorized to perform state duties and store ammunition without the authorization required by law.
“According to preliminary information, the platoon commander asked a conscripted soldier for US $ 1,800 for helping to release him from service for health reasons,” said the GDB.

During a search of the suspect’s home, part of the money paid by the conscripted soldier was found and seized, as well as 21 cartridges which the guard kept without the authorization provided by law.
