Gerashchenko spoke of the hospitals of the Interior Ministry, where the cops and the National Guard are tested for COVID-19
In the system of the Ministry of the Interior, there are enough possibilities to test all the police officers and the national guard under COVID-19.
This was reported by the Communication Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine with reference to the information of Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Anton Gerashchenko.
“We have our own health system, we bought tests for COVID-19 and special equipment. We have enough capacity to test all the police and guards in the health establishments of the Ministry of the Interior system” said Gerashchenko, quoted by the press service.

According to him, the timely introduction of quarantine was the right decision, which allowed us to keep the situation under control and gave Ukraine time to prepare for a pandemic.
“Now we are fully supplied with tests and all the personal protective equipment. We are also partially supplied and have done everything to be soon fully equipped with ventilators. Our doctors have some training and are not so afraid of treat patients with coronavirus. Now we’re gradually quarantining. ” – noted the Deputy Minister.

The press service recalled that on May 7, the Verkhovna Rada passed a law to strengthen testing of COVID-19. It makes tests mandatory for doctors, police, the National Guard, involved in the treatment of patients with coronavirus.
