Ukrainian organizations will get free access to some of the company’s services
Tech giant Google launched Google for non-profit program in Ukraine. It provides charitable organizations with access to the company’s products that help solve various problems, for example, attract new donors and volunteers, increase work efficiency and seek help from supporters.
What Google services are now available to non-profit organizations in Ukraine:
- G Suite for Non Profit. Professional software and application packages (Gmail, Docs, Calendar, Drive, Google Meet). It is noted that for all G Suite users, the premium features of the Google Meet application will be available until September 30, 2020.
- Advertising grant. A program that offers non-monetary grants of up to $ 10 thousand per month for advertising on Google search. Thanks to such advertising, non-profit organizations can attract donations, disseminate information about their organization, and seek volunteers as long as the situation around the distribution of COVID-19 Do not change. The advertising grant program will be available in Ukraine by October 2020.
- YouTube Nonprofit Program. Access to premium video service features that help organizations reach global audiences and increase impact through their YouTube channel.
- Google Earth and Google Maps Access data visualization tools to help organizations show their work and its impact.
Under this program, a non-profit organization that meets the requirements of the program can file Account registration request And start using Google tools for free.
Who can participate in the Google program:
An organization that is registered in Ukraine as a charitable organization, civic association, religious organization or international non-profit organization.
Who can not participate in the program:
State bodies and institutes, hospitals and other medical institutions, schools and universities. Representatives of the company emphasized that there are separate programs for such organizations.
Currently, Google is available for the non-profit program in more than 50 countries, and around 300 thousand organizations are participating in it. According to Google’s representatives in Ukraine, in the near future the company will conduct training, explaining to the organizations how to use Google services. Training dates will be published on the company’s blog.
