The Security Service of Ukraine will conduct an audit as part of an interview that Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Gordon gave to former separatist leader Igor Girkin.

This was reported by BBC Ukraine with reference to the press center of the department.

“The SBU will study the situation surrounding the interview with Girkin,” the source said in response to a question about whether the Ukrainian intelligence services would respond to the interview.

Earlier, an interview of Dmitry Gordon with one of the leaders of DPR activists in 2014, the so-called DPR Defense Minister Igor Girkin (Strelkov), was published on the publication’s website in GORDON line.

According to Ukrinform, the International Joint Investigative Group said that the flight aircraft MH17 had been shot down by the Buk anti-aircraft missile system, which belongs to the 53rd anti-aircraft missile defense team of the Russian armed forces stationed in Kursk.

Igor Girkin, also known as Strelkov, has repeatedly admitted that he had taken an active part in the process of annexation of Crimea by Russia.

In 2014, he was “Minister of Defense” of the separatists of the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic”.

He was the one who reported on Twitter that the separatists shot down a plane, which later turned out to be a Boeing MH17 of Malaysian passengers. The attack killed 298 people.
