Any Ukrainian citizen in the temporarily occupied territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions has the right to contact the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights regarding the crossing of the line in connection with various humanitarian needs.

This was reported by the Ombudsman’s Office of Ukraine on Facebook.

The ministry recalled that, according to preliminary information from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the educational centers would start their work on June 9, 2020, and also that on June 15 the first stage of the WNV test would take place .

At the same time, the Office of the Ombudsman recalls that adaptive quarantine will continue in Ukraine until June 22, 2020, therefore the restrictions set when crossing the dividing line with the temporarily occupied and controlled territories in the Donetsk and of Lugansk continue to apply.

“However, in exceptional cases, taking into account individual circumstances of a social (humanitarian) nature, if there are supporting documents, the passage of persons through the CPVM may be ensured by a separate decision of the commander of the CAB and there is confirmation of the occupation bodies of the Russian Federation operating in these territories. We remind you that every citizen has the right to appeal to the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Lyudmila Denisova, who continues to take all possible measures to renew the rights of our fellow citizens to cross the line according to various humanitarian needs, “said the report.
