In 2020 the Ukrainian banking system will operate according to the general schedule of holidays and weekends in Ukraine. In connection with the celebration of the religious holiday of Easter, non-working days for banking institutions will be three consecutive days: April 18, 19 and 20. It was reported for the NBU.

It is also reported that the banking system passed the first month of quarantine quite peacefully. According to the regulator, liquidity of banks is now more than 200 billion. More than 30 billion UAH is on the cash desks of banks. Currency liquidity is $ 7.9 billion. It is noted that a month ago there was almost the same amount.

In addition, the National Bank said that hryvnia money in the accounts of the population in banks increased by 4% to $ 341.4 billion. At the same time, foreign currency accounts decreased 2% to $ 9.8 billion.

“There is an influx of hryvnia money and a slight outflow of foreign currency. Not bad for the month of crisis, ”added NBU.
