Despite the problems associated with the inability to use Google services, Huawei does not intend to reduce its presence in Europe. In recent months, we have seen the emergence of several Android smartphones and tablets with mobile services and the Huawei application gallery, as well as the expansion of our offer in other market segments with strong growth in smartwatch sales and the emergence of truly affordable ultrabooks like the latest Honor MagicBook 14.
Among the services that Huawei intends to offer Europe, we also find Huawei Pay, a contactless payment service of a Chinese company. During this watch, Huawei confirmed that Huawei Pay will arrive in Europe by 2020At least with regard to Germany (official confirmation came from the German division of Huawei). Most likely, the new payment service will also be available in Italy over the next few months or, at most, starting in 2021.
At the moment, it is not yet clear whether Huawei has reached an agreement with European banking institutions to enable users to use this service.
