Vitaliy Kulik, director of the Center for Research on Civil Society Problems, believes that the president’s chief of staff, Andrey Yermak, making certain concessions to the Kremlin, does not take into account the serious consequences for Ukraine.
This is reported by the NPF, referring to “Facts.”
Vitaly Kulik noted that the head of the president’s cabinet, Andrei Yermak, whom many experts call the main negotiators with the Russian Federation on the settlement of the conflict in Donbas, is making concessions to the Kremlin. According to him, thus, Mr. Yermak wishes to speed up the negotiation process. But, as Kulik noted, the EP chief ignores many risks.
“Mr. Ermak, trying to accelerate the result, as he sees it, and ignores the phasing, ignores certain pitfalls, risks, does not want to take into account the possible consequences of certain concessions from Ukraine,” said Kulik.
In addition, according to the expert, the Ukrainian government is trying not to make unpopular decisions, so as not to lose the sympathy of Zelensky’s voters.
“All the actions of the Ukrainian authorities are aimed at obtaining the approval of certain voters of President Zelensky,” said the expert.
Earlier, we reported that Pushilin thanked Putin for the “invaluable support” of the residents of the “DPR”.
