In medical establishments the Ministry of Defense paid 300% of the premium to doctors working with patients with COVID-19
In the medical establishments of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, premiums have already been paid for the month of April to medical personnel working directly with patients suffering from COVID-19.
This was reported by ArmiyaInform with reference to information from the deputy director of the finance department of the Ministry of Defense, Sergey Galimsky.
“So far, this only applies to civilian doctors. Payments are made by order of military medical clinical centers. Hospital management has introduced clear control over the provision of medical care to patients with coronavirus and, according to this information, they carry additional costs. This will not be the case for a doctor who has entered the patient’s room for five minutes and receives an allowance of 300%. Strict monitoring is underway to avoid social tension, ”said Galimsky.
According to him, the most difficult situation with the payment of allowances to military doctors and nurses, but this problem is still being resolved.
“We have made changes to government orders pending their approval and approval so that uniformed physicians receive a premium. The delay was due to the approval of the document by other law enforcement agencies. Now we are awaiting an order from medical facilities for payment in May, ”said Galimsky.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the morning of May 21, in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, 48 people suffered from coronavirus. During the last day, three new cases were identified. 205 people are isolated (including self-isolation). The number of soldiers whose isolation ends in the next three days is 29.
