In the case of the export of medical masks to Spain at considerably lower prices, 8 searches were carried out during which important documents for the investigation were seized.
Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova said it in a video message on the occasion of 100 days in a message posted on the website of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
“I would like to talk about the actual production, recorded according to a journalistic investigation concerning the export of medical masks to the Kingdom of Spain at prices significantly lower for 1 hryvnia 23 kopecks, as a result of which people avoided paying taxes worth more than 15 million hryvnia. During the investigation, 8 authorized searches were carried out, in which primary financial and commercial documents, electronic storage media, draft drafts, mobile terminals, bank cards, laptops, samples of respiratory masks, large amounts of foreign currency have been seized, ”said Venediktova.
According to her, a forensic study is currently underway, after which the results of an examination will be determined.

As reported, in March the Kiev prosecution opened a preliminary investigation into the possibility of a criminal offense by Kiev customs officials while processing the export of medical masks to Spain.
At the same time, the National Customs Service declared that the supply of respiratory masks to Spain had taken place legally even before the Cabinet of Ministers was prohibited from exporting.
