The changes to the state budget for 2010 stipulate that education funding is only reduced by 4% and will amount to 126 billion UAH.
This was announced by Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmigal in Telegram.
“No emergency situation should affect the field of education and science. It is the basis on which the future of the country is built. Consequently, the task of the government is to ensure its proper functioning. The proposed state budget for the education sector assumes 126 billion UAH. In other words, the decrease is only 4% and will not significantly affect the most important government programs, “wrote Shmygal.
