In Ukraine, 1668 cases of COVID-19 have been registered, fatal - 52

According to the Center for Public Health, at 9 a.m. on April 8 in Ukraine, 1,668 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19, 52 of which were fatal, 35 patients recovered. During the day, 206 new cases were recorded.

Vinnytsia region – 89 cases;

Volyn region – 36 cases;

Dnipropetrovsk region – 41 cases;

Donetsk region – 11 cases;

Zhytomyr region – 21 cases;

Transcarpathian region – 43 cases;

Zaporizhzhya region – 45 cases;

Ivano-Frankivsk region – 198 cases;

Kirovograd region – 57 cases;

Kiev – 256 cases;

Kiev region – 120 cases;

Lviv region – 36 cases;

Lugansk region – 3 cases;

Odessa region – 32 cases;

Poltava region – 17 cases;

Rivne region – 44 cases;

Sumy region – 56 cases;

Ternopil region – 168 cases;

Kharkov region – 5 cases;

Kherson region – 15 cases;

Khmelnitsky region – 15 cases;

Chernivtsi region – 273 cases;

Cherkassy region – 80 cases;

Chernihiv region – 7 cases.

Data are missing on the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Lugansk and the city of Sevastopol.

The studies were carried out by the reference virological laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories. On the morning of April 8, 2020, the Center received 820 reports of suspicion of COVID-19. Since the start of 2020, 7,205 statements of suspicion of COVID-19 have been received.
