In Ukraine, 33 patients with COVID-19 are in critical condition

There are 757 people with coronavirus in health facilities in Ukraine; today 33 patients are in critical condition.

This was announced during a briefing on Wednesday by Deputy Minister of Health, chief medical officer of health Viktor Lyashko, reports a correspondent for Ukrinform.

“There are now 757 people in health facilities, including 37 children with coronavirus. 33 are in critical condition, 33 are in need of intensive care,” he said.

Outpatient treatment is for 824 people, said the head of state.

According to Lyashko, in Ukraine, deaths are currently recorded in 16 regions, and the death rate from coronavirus in the country is now 3.1%.

At the same time, Lyashko cited data according to which in Spain this figure is 9.9% in Italy – 12.6%, in France – 9%. In addition, the lowest death rate in Germany (less than 2%) and in South Korea (1.5%).
