In Ukraine, during quarantine, the number of robberies decreased by 35% - police

During the quarantine period in Ukraine, the number of robberies decreased on average by 35%.

The data was released by the head of the National Police’s Main Investigation Department, Maxim Tsutskiridze, the press service of the Interior Ministry.

“In the period from March 11 to April 4 last year, the whole country committed 25,988 thefts. For the same period this year, there were 16,926. 34.9% fewer. Thefts were committed last year 815, this year – 543. That is, their number decreased by 33.4%. As for thefts, the situation looks like this: last year – 149, this year – 97, we also see a 34.9% drop, “said the official.
