In Ukraine, more than two thousand children and five thousand doctors fell ill with COVID-19 – Ministry of Health
As of June 9, in Ukraine, 2003 cases of COVID-19 disease in children and 5135 cases in health workers have been laboratory confirmed.
This was announced during a briefing on June 9 by Health Minister Maxim Stepanov, reports a correspondent for Ukrinform.
“A total of 27,856 people fell ill during the pandemic, of which 2003 were children and 5135 were health workers,” said Stepanov.
According to him, during the last day, 39 children and 34 medical workers fell ill with COVID-19.

Stepanov also said that 8,080 tests were done during the day, including 6,359 by PCR and 1,721 by ELISA.
According to Worldometers, on the morning of June 9, 7,199,306 people were found worldwide from COVID-19, of whom 408,734 died and 3,536,274 recovered.
