The Council of Ministers adopted amendments to Resolution of the Council of Ministers of Ukraine No. 392, “On the establishment of a quarantine to prevent the spread of acute respiratory diseases COVID-19 caused by the coronavirus SARS -CoV-2 and the stages of weakening anti-epidemic measures in Ukraine ”.

The corresponding decision without discussion was taken at a special government meeting on June 12, reports the Ukrinform correspondent.

“We offer a different access regime through the KPVV, it is very important, on the other hand, we allow excursion services for groups of 50 people maximum in order to provide tourist opportunities. A little more mitigation, “said Stepanov.

The changes to Resolution No. 392 will be reviewed by the Ministry of Health within one day, as according to Stepanov, the Ministry of Health is currently conducting an epidemiological investigation in connection with the recent increase in the incidence of COVID-19.

“The situation, in our opinion, has worsened. We understand that after mitigation, it (the incidence rate – note) will increase slightly, but not as long as we break records for the second consecutive day”, a said Stepanov.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Ministry of Health, at the request of tourism operators, has launched an increase in the number of tourist groups from 10 to 50 people.

At a government meeting on June 3, a decision was made to phase out the quarantine.

Quarantine to combat the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection in Ukraine was introduced on March 12. In particular, commercial establishments were closed, except for grocery stores, pharmacies, petrol stations and banks. Subway work in Kiev, Kharkov and Dnipro has been stopped, land transport in cities has been stopped, inter-city and inter-regional car, rail and air communications have been stopped.

Since March 28, Ukraine has completely closed the border for scheduled flights, including aviation.

Now in Ukraine, by June 22, adaptive quarantine is in effect.
