In Ukraine, they want to test all candidates for COVID-19

This was stated to the correspondent of Ukrinform at the Ministry of Defense, answering the question on compulsory coronavirus screening for recruits.
“The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, together with the command of the medical forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, ordered the military authorities to organize work at the conscription posts and regional assembly points of the police stations military (territorial acquisition and social support centers) under the conditions determined by the relevant decisions and recommendations of the government, directives and regulatory documents of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine concerning the prevention of the spread and territory of Ukraine from acute respiratory diseases COVID-19 caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. The test for the presence of coronavirus infection, including conscripts, will be carried out in accordance with the standards of medical care for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) approved by the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, the report said.

The Defense Ministry explained that the document approval process is underway. Once the standards have been approved, the Ministry of Defense will provide detailed information on the testing of recruits.
As reported by Ukrinform, as of June 5, 142 people were suffering from acute respiratory disease COVID-19 in the Armed Forces of Ukraine caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. During the day, 14 new cases were detected.
In Ukraine, a total of 25,964 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19, of which 762 were fatal, 11,372 patients recovered. 553 new cases were recorded per day.
