The diplomatic mission informed that this special commercial flight was organized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Ukrainian Embassy in the Kingdom of Thailand quickly developed with the Italian Embassy in Myanmar the possibility of embarking Ukrainian citizens on a special flight, and with the Ukrainian Consulate General in Milan – obtaining permission from Italian authorities to cross the national border by Ukrainian citizens for transit.

“In front of our compatriots is a very difficult path along the Yangon-Milan-Minsk-Ukraine road. These are two flights, a 17 hour transfer, one night to Milan airport, crossing the Belarusian-Ukrainian border and returning home via Ukraine, “said the embassy.
