Kiev and 10 regions are not ready to weaken quarantine – Ministry of Health
As of June 14, according to the Ministry of Health, ten regions and the city of Kiev were not ready to relax the quarantine restrictions.

As indicated, the transition from the regions to the second stage of quarantine, which provides for the relaxation of quarantine restrictions, is possible provided that the epidemiological situation in the region meets certain criteria which reflect the control of virus transmission, the level the capacity of the treatment network, epidemiological institutions and the health system as a whole to combat the spread of the acute respiratory tract. Among these criteria – the incidence (the number of new cases of COVID-19 in the last 7 days per 100,000 inhabitants) should be less than 12 per 100,000 inhabitants, the workload of beds in health establishments determined for hospitalization of patients with a confirmed case of COVID-19 should be less than 50% and the test coverage should not be less than the incidence level, i.e. the average number of tests ( polymerase chain reaction and enzyme immunoassay methods) in the past 7 days is expected to be greater than 12 per 100,000 population.

Thus, according to the Ministry of Health, as of June 14, 2020, due to a low incidence rate, the restrictions of 10 regions of Ukraine cannot be relaxed, namely: Vinnytsia region, Volyn, Zhytomyr, Transcarpathian, Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Rivne, Ternopol, Chernihiv, Tcherkasie and the city of Kiev.
As reported, as of June 14, 31,154 cases of COVID-19 had been laboratory confirmed in Ukraine, 648 new cases per day.
