The free legal aid system has started offering online advice in private chat rooms in Weiber and Telegram.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
“Now, it is possible to get an answer to a legal question online via private chats in the popular instant messengers Telegram and Viber,” the statement said.
As previously mentioned, new free legal aid resources allow asking a legal question and obtaining a response from the BPP system from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Chat capabilities will be gradually improved to respond qualitatively to all user requests.
BPP experts are also reported to provide legal advice and clarification on the toll-free number 0 800 213 103, in Facebook messenger, in Telegram chat, in response to letters sent to regional and local centers’ emails. the provision of free secondary legal assistance.
The Ministry of Justice recalls that the Cabinet of Ministers has introduced an emergency regime throughout Ukraine for 30 days, until April 24, 2020. As a result, all quarantine restrictions are also extended until April 24 2020.

During this period, the free legal aid system suspends the personal reception of citizens and the provision of targeted legal assistance. Free primary and secondary legal assistance is provided remotely, using information and communication technologies and using mailboxes for correspondence.
