It should be noted that if a person voluntarily leaves his previous job precisely during the quarantine period and has already registered with the employment service, no additional documents must be presented. Benefits will be accrued automatically.

In addition, for the quarantine period, the rule of deferral of unemployment benefits for dismissals of their own free will will not apply.

“In today’s reality, for many citizens, voluntary dismissal was the only possible solution in the situation of enterprises for objective reasons. In particular, the document determined that for the quarantine period for people who quit their jobs on their own, there is no obligation to postpone the payment of unemployment benefits for a maximum period of 90 days. At the same time, the total duration of unemployment benefits for these people cannot exceed 270 calendar days.
