Information that the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has decided to abandon Russian oil and agree to a supply from the United States of America, which no one believed, believing that the Belarusian leader would not decide not such a bold move, has been confirmed.

Pursuant to previous agreements, the United States began supplying oil to Belarus on May 15. This was officially declared by the country’s foreign minister, Vladimir Makei.
“I am pleased to confirm the start of the oil supply from the United States to Belarus”, – said the Belarusian diplomat.
According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Belarus sees cooperation with the United States in the oil sector as an important element of energy security, helping to strengthen the country’s sovereignty.
Lukashenko thus avenged Putin for his intransigence in supplying energy to Belarus.
