Order No. 5 of March 30 of the Chief Medical Officer of Health “On the fight against the spread of coronaviruses (Covid-19) in points of sale” will expire on April 14.
Deputy Minister of Health, Chief Medical Officer of Health Viktor Lyashko, said this on the Freedom of Expression program on ICTV, reports a correspondent for UKRINFORM.
“We understood why we allowed the opening of the markets, because it influenced the prices in supermarkets, which increased the availability of cheaper foods. Throughout this resolution, local government abuses were exposed when they opened the markets in unsanitary conditions … We have huge violations. From April 14, my resolution, which stipulated the conditions for opening to the markets, will be declared invalid. We will not work with this, there is no common sense – as well as with access to the temples. For some reason, we think it will last, “Lyashko said.
As Ukrinform reported, on March 30, the Chief Medical Officer of Health approved a decree that prescribed the working conditions of the markets under restrictive measures.
