In the event of a rapid decrease in the number of patients with coronavirus, Ukraine may immediately go from the first stage of quarantine to the third or fourth.
This opinion was expressed by the Deputy Minister of Health – the chief medical officer of health Viktor Lyashko on ICTV.
“If we have a big decrease in the number of patients, we can go from the first stage to the third or fourth stage,” he said.
As reported, since March 12, the government has introduced quarantine in Ukraine to combat the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection. In particular, commercial establishments were closed, with the exception of grocery stores, pharmacies, petrol stations and banks. Work on the Kiev, Kharkov and Dnipro metros has been suspended, land transport in cities has been stopped, inter-city and inter-regional road, rail and air services have been stopped.

Now the quarantine in Ukraine has been extended until May 11, 2020.
On April 24, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal unveiled a quarantine exit plan in Ukraine, which includes 5 steps. According to him, the implementation of this plan could start on May 11, subject to a favorable epidemic situation.
