Lyashko talked about three critical symptoms of COVID-19

Analyzes for the detection of coronavirus in Ukraine are carried out mainly for people who have obvious symptoms of COVID-19 disease, in contact people, patients with Omi who have returned from abroad and who have symptoms of the disease.

This was announced on Sunday during a briefing by the Deputy Minister of Health, Chief Medical Officer of Health Viktor Lyashko, reports a correspondent for Ukrinform.

“Now everyone with symptoms is tested for coronavirus disease. The three most critical symptoms are temperature, cough and shortness of breath. 100% of these people take research equipment from virology labs “said Lyashko.

According to him, material is also taken from contact persons, from people with coronavirus and from people who have traveled outside of Ukraine and who have symptoms of coronavirus.

As reported, as of April 12, 2020, 2,777 cases of COVID-19 had been confirmed in Ukraine.

As a result of complications from the disease, 83 people died, including 40 men and 43 women. Among the dead, people over 50 years predominate (85.5%).

A total of 89 people have already recovered – a second laboratory test did not reveal the virus in the body.
