On June 11, Sternenko declared suspected of having committed crimes under art. 115 h.1 (intentional and unlawful infliction of death on another person) and art. 263 para. 2 (transport of cold steel without the authorization provided for by law) of the Criminal Code.

As reported, on the evening of May 24, 2018, two assailants attacked activist Sergei Sternenko and his girlfriend. Protecting himself from the attackers, he fatally wounded one of them with a knife in the stomach. Sternenko himself and the second attacker were both stabbed and stabbed, quickly released by police, giving him witness status and state protection.

Protesters noted that in Shkarlet’s scientific work, plagiarism has been recorded, and therefore cannot be appointed to the post of minister. The Verkhovna Rada Commission for Education, Science and Innovation did not support the candidacy of Sergei Shkarlet for the post of head of the education department.

The “Ultra-Trail Kuyalnik Odessa” ultra-marathon on the Kuyalnik estuary ended in tragedy. One of its participants, Yekaterina Katyushcheva, 32, a member of the Ukrainian national team in 24-hour race, lost consciousness and lost her track during the last stage of the race due to a “stroke Sun”.
