The Ministry of Health is doing everything possible to prevent the peak incidence of coronaviruses in Ukraine.
This was announced by Deputy Minister of Health, Ukraine’s chief medical officer of health Viktor Lyashko during a briefing on Tuesday, reports a correspondent for Ukrinform.
“We do not want a peak in Ukraine. We are doing everything we can to ensure that there is no peak in the health system. For this, quarantine measures have been introduced before the scheduled date which allow us to “stretch the number of coronavirus cases over time. We have some predictions, when exactly we can expect this peak. But we are doing everything we can to avoid this peak load. According to the Center for Public Health, at 10:00 a.m. on March 31 in Ukraine, 549 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 13 fatalities and 8 patients, have recovered. 69 new cases were registered per day.
As Ukrinform reported, on the morning of March 31, the number of confirmed COVID-19 infections worldwide was 785,807, the number of deaths was 37,820, and now 165,659 have recovered.
