The Ministry of Health is planning to introduce a “clinical classification”, that is to say that patients suffering from a moderate or serious illness must be hospitalized.
This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Health – chief medical officer of health Viktor Lyashko at an information meeting on March 29, reports a correspondent for Ukrinform.
“We also propose the introduction of clinical triage, that is, patients with moderate and severe illness should be hospitalized in hospitals. All others should be treated on an outpatient basis under supervision and supervision medical, “said Lyashko.

According to him, for this, the Ministry of Health recommends strengthening the primary care centers, by attracting specialists from other specialties, because it is the doctor who can decide the criteria for hospitalization and determine if the patient should stay in the hospital, where he can continue treatment at home.
