Ministry of Statistics launches a contest with prize money of $ 4 million: topics and conditions for participation

To facilitate the lives of people and businesses during the coronovirus epidemic, the Ministry of Statistics launched a national competition of IT projects and ideas. The best ideas will be realized or receive financing for development. The total prize money is 4 million UAH.

Developers, startups, marketers, researchers and activists are invited to participate in the competition. Both new products and better existing solutions that can somehow help people survive can participate. Development directions:

  • Counting Coronavirus
  • E-services for citizens
  • social entrepreneurship
  • mutual help

Applications accepted until 6 April. And on April 9, the jury will select the winners. Ideas will be evaluated by the following criteria: innovative solutions, social impact, development potential. The team must have a clear idea of ​​the target audience and scale, demonstrating specific growth and scalability opportunities across the country.

The participants of the National #HackCorona IT Project Competition in Ukraine are the EGAP program, funded by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and implemented by the Eastern Europe Foundation and Innovatribes and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
