Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for the reintegration of the temporarily occupied territories Aleksey Reznikov believes that the Minsk agreements should be “modernized”.
This is reported by the NPF, referring to “Unian.”
The Deputy Prime Minister recalled that the Minsk agreements were signed in 2015. According to Reznikov, officially, it can be considered that Minsk was completed on December 31, 2015. Reznikov believes that the agreements that were concluded in Minsk should be ” modernized ”. The politician noted that the German chancellor had previously declared that the Minsk agreements “are not set in stone”.
“I think everyone understands that the Minsk agreements do not correspond to reality,” said Reznikov.
In addition, the politician highlighted another important point. According to Reznikov, after the signing of Minsk-2, neither the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine nor the State Duma of the Russian Federation ratified it as a party to these agreements.
But despite this, according to Reznikov, Ukraine continues to do everything possible to carry out Minsk-2. The official also noted that it is only through the Minsk negotiation platform that Ukraine can at least somehow negotiate with the Russian Federation.
Recall earlier that the deputy of the party “Servant of the people”, Alexander Merezhko, said that Ukraine could withdraw from Minsk-2, because the agreements can be considered ineffective.
We had previously indicated that Kravtchouk had indicated the price to be paid by Ukraine for its membership in NATO.
