MKIP supports Ukraine’s involvement in pan-European cultural processes
The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy supports the active participation of Ukraine in pan-European cultural processes, participation in European programs and initiatives in the field of culture.
This is indicated in the congratulations of the Minister of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine Svetlana Fomenko and the whole team of MKIP on the occasion of the celebration of Europe Day in Ukraine, published on the department’s website.
“The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy supports the active participation of Ukraine in pan-European cultural processes, participation in European programs and initiatives in the field of culture, the expansion of cooperation networks between professionals , encouraging creative exchanges and other forms of cooperation in the humanitarian field, ”said the congratulations.

The ministry noted that European integration is an investment in culture, creativity and heritage, which are at the heart of European identity. It is also a return to historical memory, because at the same time, pride returns for the contribution of Ukrainians to the common European space.
“These are participation and victories in the main EU financial programs and awards for the cultural sector and the creative industries, such as Creative Europe.” It is a revival of cinema and access to 25 million euros from the European Fund EURIMAGES for the development and promotion of Ukrainian cinema, ”added the MKIP.
In Ukraine, Europe Day is celebrated on the third Saturday in May as a day of shared values, a story shared by all the nations of the continent. Ukraine is the only non-EU state to celebrate Europe Day at state level.
