Fintech band is mainly interested in countries like India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Nigeria or Philippines.
Fintech company Fintech Band, which services Ukrainian and foreign banks, is about to launch an analogue of the Monobank project in a new emerging market. This was reported by one of the founders of Monobank and former cabinet minister Dimitri Dubulet.
“We are planning to launch a monobank analog in a new emerging market. To do this, we need to find a bank that operates in this market and is ready to start a joint venture. Countries which are mainly interested in: India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Nigeria, Philippines, Egypt, Vietnam, Saudi Arabia, Singapore. But there may be other emerging markets.
Dubulet also notes that Monobank has become one of the fastest growing and most profitable banks in the world, which actually led to plans to make an analog – the makers are going to repeat their successful experience.
It is worth noting that Monobank became profitable in September 2018 – less than a year after its launch. The founders of Monobank are already building the Coto banking project in the UK. In early March, the issue of bank cards began.
