Roman Lozinsky, people’s deputy from the Golos faction, calls for an extension of the sanctions imposed three years ago against Russian companies, which include blocking the social networks of VKontakte and Odnoklassniki.
He announced it on his Facebook page.
“Already on May 15, the three-year term of the NSDC decision on sanctions against Russian companies expires. Has anyone heard the National Security Council continue to apply the decision or at least discuss it? I do not do this. Today I sent an assistant appeal to the President, to the NSDC, to the Cabinet of Ministers and to the Security Service of Ukraine. I demand immediate extension of the sanctions and blocking of social media aggressor country, “said Lozinsky.
He recalled that the sanctions list, in particular, included the social networks VKontakte and Odnoklassniki, as well as other Russian services.
As reported, in May 2017, then Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko implemented a decision by the National Security and Defense Council regarding three-year sanctions against the Russian Internet company Yandex, as well as Mail.Ru Group, the social networks Vkontakte and Odnoklassniki.
