NAPK appealed to court in Gladkovsky case

The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption has sent the Kiev District Administrative Court a review of the statement of claim of former first deputy secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleg Gladkovsky.

This was reported by the department’s press service.

The NACP recall calls on the court to refuse Gladkovsky to comply fully.

It should be noted that Gladkovsky requests the court to declare illegal and set aside the decisions of the NACP on the results of the comprehensive checks of his statements for 2015 (amended) and 2016. These allegations are justified by the fact that the contested decisions of the NACP were taken in violation of the deadlines for full verification of declarations.

The complainant requests that the decision of the NACP be set aside, which approved the finding based on the identification of signs of crime and sent the decision on the results of the full verification of his statement for 2015 to the National Anti-Corruption Office of Ukraine (NABU).

The department recalled that in Gladkovsky’s statements for 2015, the NACP revealed violations of 1.29 million UAH.

At the same time, with full control of the Gladkovsky statement for 2016, the NACP revealed violations totaling 245,000 UAH.

The decision on the results of the full verification of the Gladkovsky Declaration for 2015 was forwarded by the NACP to the NABU. Data entered in the unified register of preliminary investigations in September 2019.

The NAPK stresses that despite a court decision to quash a decision on the results of a full verification of the declaration, a person can be prosecuted.
