New tariffs will come into effect in late July
From 24 July the National Bank of Ukraine will restore and update the tariff for transactions in the electronic payment system (BOT). Earlier, due to the introduction of a nationwide quarantine in the country, the regulator suspended the collection of payments for settlements in the system for four months from March 24, 2020.
At NBU, this decision was explained by the planned transition of the BOT into an extended work schedule to operate 23 hours a day, 7 days a week (23/7). The National Bank also clarified that while taking the decision, the regulator took into account the gradual weakening of quarantine and anti-epidemic measures by the Cabinet of Ministers.
