This year, 984 hospitals across Ukraine received less funding than in 2019.
Health Minister Maxim Stepanov announced it on the Freedom of Expression program on ICTV, reports a correspondent for Ukrinform.
“We met with the National Health Service in early April when they had already concluded all of the contracts. In the calculations they gave me, 984 hospitals received less funding than last year. , 332 are 50% less than in the past year, “said the head of the Ministry of Health.
He said about 215 regional hospitals, as well as children’s and infectious institutions, received less money.

Stepanov added that funding for entire areas, such as tuberculosis and psychiatry, has been cut from 70 to 80 percent.
