There are less than two weeks to vote on the amendments to the Constitution of the Russian Federation (the vote will take place on July 1) and the Central Election Commission is publishing more and more news about its work. Thus, on its telegram chain, there was a video called “Do at least something!”, Which caused an ambiguous reaction among Internet users.
The frame shows a family with two children on a day off. The mother does the housework, the daughter plays the violin, the son sits near the box with toys and the father lies on the sofa with a tablet in his hand. His wife interrupts her rest with a request to do at least something on the day off. He accepts and leaves the house. The man returns, probably late, because the spouse puts the children to bed. When asked where he was, the husband replied that he “had voted for the Constitution” and then asked his wife to “do at least something useful”.
The creators of the video provoked discussions on the Web, accusations of sexism, misogyny and insults for women who do their homework. commented the video creator of the telegram chain “Daughter of the thief” Nastya Krasilnikova.
