The National Health Service made the first advance payment to specialized medical establishments in the amount of more than 1.7 billion UAH.

“The first 616 specialized agencies received an advance from the NHA. They paid 1,616,845,950 UAH in their accounts to 616 specialized medical institutions under an agreement with the NHA. This is the first payment of the first months since the start of the medical guarantees program, “he was informed.
The NHA added that other institutions will receive payment in the near future.
It should be noted that to date, 1,643 specialized medical care institutions have signed agreements with the NHA for the provision of medical services under the medical guarantee program.
The National Health Service also reminded that, according to the calendar of reception of the funds, the establishments will receive an advance on payment during the first ten days of each month:
– 90% deposit for medical service packages for which payment is envisaged by the global budget;
– 50% of the estimated amount of payments for the provision of the following priority services – heart attacks, strokes, obstetric care and neonatal care.

“During the first days of the following month, a report for the previous month will be generated and the establishment will receive, on the basis of the report, the remaining unpaid funds in advance for the overall budget and for the provision of priority services. As well as paying for these priority services when they are delivered – instrumental studies for early detection of cancer, “said the message.
As Ukrinform reported, on April 1, the medical guarantee program was launched. Medical establishments that provide specialized medical care, subject to the conclusion of agreements with the NHA, will refuse payment for each case treated. For patients, treatment in hospitals will be free. Budget 2020 provides 72 billion UAH for the medical benefits program.
