In a train compartment that will travel to regions where the quarantine has not yet been relaxed, no more than two passengers will be able to travel.
This was stated by the Chairman of the board of directors of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsya” Ivan Yurik, the press service of the company.
“In passenger cars heading to regions where quarantine has not yet been relaxed, 50% of the seats will be sold, that is to say that a maximum of two people will be in the same compartment,” explained Yurik. .
According to him, the trains will undergo an intensive disinfection treatment before and after the flight. It also improves the treatment of the litter during washing. Drivers will clean every hour during the flight: wash the bathrooms, the car floor, wipe the handrails, door handles, buttons, etc. Each car has a disinfectant that passengers can use.
The cars contain stickers of recommendation regarding personal hygiene in quarantine. Train crews receive personal protective equipment, undergo additional information sessions and medical examinations.
The frequency of cleaning and disinfection of premises in stations where passengers are also increased. At railway counters, markings are applied to maintain social distance. The station speakers on the speaker will resemble the rules for staying on station premises.

On May 11, Ukraine began the first stage of the weakening of quarantine. The Cabinet of Ministers has authorized certain establishments of commerce and services to consumers to operate.
The second phase of quarantine mitigation began on May 22. Until June 22, Ukraine will have adaptive quarantine.
