Off the coast of Africa, unidentified men attacked a ship flying the flag of the Comoros and kidnapped two crew members, including one Ukrainian.
This was reported by the Dryad Global portal, which specializes in maritime safety issues.
“The RIO MITONG freighter was attacked by a fast boat with an unknown number of people on board. The criminals allegedly used the stairs to board the ship, after which two crew members – allegedly a Russian and a Ukrainian – were kidnapped, “said the report.
The rest of the crew, the source said, are safe.
