Oncology dispensaries thanks to medical reform can receive 70% more money – deputy
Thanks to medical reform, cancer clinics can receive 70% more money and 60% of hospitals have increased their funding.
This was stated by a member of the Verkhovna Rada commission on national health, medical assistance and medical insurance Olga Stefanishina (Golos faction) in the Right to Power program on the 1 + 1 television channel, reports a correspondent from Ukrinform.
“I know what our medicine is – it just doesn’t exist. And it must be reformed for the good of the patients. Now you want to stop medical reform and steal the hope from all of us for truly free services. Did you know that oncology clinics as a result of the medical reform can receive 70% more money and that 60% of hospitals have increased funding? “- said Stefanishina, referring to the Minister of Health Maxim Stepanov.

As reported, the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky called on the head of the Ministry of Health, the chairman of the competent committee of the Verkhovna Rada and the chief medical officer of health to quickly propose ways to improve medical reform and resolve the problems which arose following the introduction of its second phase.
