Ukrainian doctors will learn online how to use mechanical ventilation devices.
This was announced at a meeting in the president’s office by Minister of Health Maxim Stepanov in response to a remark by head of state Vladimir Zelensky, according to the president’s website.
“It is necessary to organize online courses. Then you can teach doctors in the regions very quickly,” noted Zelensky, in particular. In response, Stepanov said that an information and consultation center for online medical consultations would soon be launched.

At the meeting, it was also noted that even after receiving modern artificial lung ventilation (IVL) devices, doctors in the regions often do not know how to use them. Therefore, it is necessary to organize the training of doctors.
As reported, the morning of April 9 in Ukraine, according to the Ministry of Health, 1892 cases of COVID-19 coronavirus were recorded, including 57 fatal, 45 patients recovered. During the day, 224 new cases were recorded.
