This is reported by the NPF, referring to LB.ua.

Alexei Reznikov said that, according to his data, more than 200,000 inhabitants of the temporarily occupied territories issued the passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation. According to Reznikov, large-scale certification of Ordlo residents continues. He noted that recently the State Duma of the Russian Federation has exempted residents of occupied Donbas from paying state fees when issuing the passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation. According to him, the Kremlin thus encourages residents of ORLDO to issue a passport to a citizen of the Russian Federation.

Asked what awaits the residents of Donbas who issued a passport to a citizen of the Russian Federation after the liberation of the occupied territories, Reznikov replied that these people would probably not remain on the territory of the Ukraine.

“The people who took the Russian passport are likely to leave, to flee – they have separated from Ukraine,” said Reznikov.

Recall that the authorities of the so-called “DPR” said that it was possible to issue a passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation for 300 rubles. According to them, it is a “compulsory payment”. Previously, the State Duma of the Russian Federation exempted residents of ORLDO from the payment of a state fee in the amount of 3,500 rubles when issuing the passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation.

Earlier, we pointed out that negotiations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation could stall.
