The press secretary to the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, commented on the holding of the Victory Day parade on June 24 in what is known as the “DPR”. According to Peskov, this is a “good idea”.
This is reported by the NPF, referring to the portal DonPress
The Kremlin reacted to the initiative of the “authorities” of the so-called “DPR” to organize the victory day parade on June 24. Putin Peskov’s representative did not ignore the fact that activists decided to celebrate Victory Day on the same day as the Kremlin on June 24.
“It could well be scheduled to coincide with the parade in Moscow,” said Peskov.
A spokesman for the Russian leader approves of the victory parade in occupied Donetsk and further believes that “it can be proud”.
“Holding a parade on an important date – the 75th anniversary of our peoples’ victory in the Great Patriotic War is understandable, and it is something to be proud of”, said the representative of Putin.
As you know, the “authorities” of the so-called “DPR”, despite the coronavirus pandemic, have decided not to refuse to organize the victory parade this year. Terrorist leader Denis Pushilin said the victory parade will be held in occupied Donetsk on June 24.
It should be noted that the invaders chose this date for a good reason, because before that, the Kremlin had decided to organize the victory day parade on June 24. In addition, according to Pushilin, on June 24, residents of Donetsk expect a large-scale event dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the victory of the Second World War.
As you know, because of the coronavirus pandemic in the so-called “DPR” of May 9, the victory parade did not take place. In addition, the Victory Day parade was canceled in the neighboring “LPR” pseudo-republic.
Earlier, we reported that Peskov had said whether the residents of Donbas would vote for changes to the Constitution of the Russian Federation.
