Zelensky announced three dates of successive salary increases for residents of Ukraine. According to the authorities’ plan, from September 1, the minimum wage will be 5,000 hryvnia. The next increase will be January 1, 2021 – the minimum wage will be 6,000 hryvnia. The last promised increase will take place on July 1, 2021, then the minimum wage will be 6,500 hryvnia.
At the same time, a number of experts warn the Ukrainians that it is too early to be too optimistic. It should take into account the level of inflation and the likelihood that the authorities will simply not be able to implement the plans in the economic field.
