Police Open Case Due To Temple Quarantine Violation

The police have initiated criminal proceedings and have drawn up three administrative protocols for violation of quarantine restrictions during Easter services.

This was announced by the national police chief of Ukraine Igor Klimenko on Facebook.

“During the day, cases of the presence of more than 10 believers in churches were recorded, including without personal protective equipment in 19 religious buildings in 13 regions. The police have drawn up three administrative files and criminal proceedings have been launched. The remaining documents are carefully studied to make a legal decision. The police continue to work in difficult conditions, “said Klimenko.

According to him, nearly 130,000 citizens participated in the services. And today, said Klimenko, we can say that citizens have shown legal conscience and heeded calls to comply with quarantine restrictions.
