Police opened case due to data leak from Ukrainians from anonymous telegram chain
The national police have recorded a criminal investigation into the leaking of information on citizens’ personal data from an anonymous telegram chain.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of the Interior.
“A preliminary analysis has revealed that the amount of personal data illegally disclosed is a compilation of the information databases of various ministries and non-governmental organizations for various periods of previous years and is not linked to the launch of the mobile application of the ‘State “Diya” “, according to the report.

Note that the case under Part 2 of Art. 361 of the Criminal Code (unauthorized interference in the functioning of electronic computers) was instituted due to the dissemination of citizens’ personal information on one of the anonymous telegram channels.
The ministry said it had stopped working on a resource that illegally distributed citizens’ personal data.
